Uncontactable Me
More likely than not, I'm going to lose all my contacts/data on my dopod. Damn. Sent it to the servicing centre in Tiong Bahru, and they said they will take about 2-3 days to diagnose what actually is wrong with the phone. It's either the motherboard (which I'm praying its not! For if it is, I'm going to lost all my memory in the phone) or the screen that has to be changed. And as it has passed its one year warranty period, I have to pay for the servicing. Double :(. I asked the guy to give me an estimation of how much I have to pay. If the screen is spoilt, its 100+, and if the motherboard is the culprit...its 500+. Someone stab me. In a dilemma.

Oh, and I heard a couple of sms-es when the guy at the service centre turned on my dopod. Sharks, I think that means I'll not be able to read the messages if...my motherboard spoils. Because whatever choice I make...i.e. to service, or not to service and buy a new phone...I'll still not be able to read the messages. And my contacts...Sob.

How about my trip to the starhub store? *Shakes head* No good deals leh. Sigh. All quite expensive without trade-in. And that's not very helpful taking into consideration that I'm be-roke. Sigh. Shall think over and see how. In the meantime, I'm...uncontactable. Haa. Good in a way too. But wells, for those close enough. You know my home number ya? Ciao!

Hello, Singapore.
I AM Back!

It's 9.07am now. And surprisingly, I'm filled with zest despite the fact that I just touched down from an 18-hour-long flight. The journey was good! It was my first - travelling alone on a plane, without my family, nor with my friends. Wasn't afraid or anything (I'm a BIG girl already yeah? ;P), but just thought that it would be lonely and boring to fly alone. But thank god it was okay. Haha. For I had spent most of my time on board...sleeping! Watched abit of travel shows, and for the rest of it, I was listening to K-pop and C-pop to bed. And guess what? The seat beside me was empty. Woohoo. Someone up there must have heard my prayers. Haha.

It sure feels good to be home. But, I missed him. Fought hard with those tears at Newark int'l Airport. And thank god, strong me won. Haha. Well, this is life. Luckily there's the ever amazing internet to keep us in touch. To him, "Be good ya? ;)"

Lugged SO MANY things home. Haha. And he, was a fantastic packer/slotter. He jigsaw-puzzled everything into the following bags and box. No joke. It was hell of a lot of things. And needless to say, my pocket is totally burnt now. :(

There you go. Boy are they heavy.

Packing-in-progress.
Did I mention how hungry I was when I touched down? Haha. This is because I only ate one cup noodle and a cup of ben & jerry's on board. Skipped the rest cos I was in lalaland. Haha. But when I reached back home, the feeling subsided. It was way past the hunger point...and I'm not hungry anymore. It's okay. Haaa. The feeling will be back very soon. ;P

Silly dad touched me again with a box of my favourite ferrero rocher on my table. He always buy me a box whenever I come back from a trip. This time together with my favourite "4D" brand preserved mangoes! He thinks I'm not fat enough or what?! Haaa. No lah, joking. He dotes on me, I know. Thanks, dad.
Peek-a-boo. Sinful love awaiting me.
A bad news to disclose. My dopod is officially down. White screen-ed. Thanks to me. I dropped it. :( So dear frens, if you wanna get hold of me, you can try calling. Don't sms okay? I won't be able to read it. Initially, I thought my mum would have a spare phone for me to use temporarily. But sigh, her old phone's down too. Great. And now, there's no spare phone at all. I shall send my dopod for servicing later in the day, and check the stores out if there's any good deals.

I shall go un-pack and take a nice, hot shower! Looking forward to the many meet-ups-to-be-arranged. And 4th July. Not because it's America's Independence Day...but because a particular dearie is coming back. Yays. And to Ms Hong, "where's the post you promised? :P"

It's Time
I just ate Kimchi again! Oooooooo...Yummy. Simply irresistable. All thanks to the ever doting pig brother of mine. He, knowing that I lurrve Kimchi, cooked it for me once more before I head back to sunny Singapore in 2 days time. Time flies, literally. Especially so when one's having a whale of a time. ;) But wells, all good things have to come to an end...and it's finally time for me to head home. Truth be told, I do think I'm starting to miss it here a little. Done all the touristy stuff, and I more or less feel like a native now. But still, I miss it back home more. ;P And taking into consideration that my pig brother's returning in Aug for 2 weeks...It won't be long till I next see him! Farewell, America.

Lookout for pics, pics and more pics in my next post! (:

The New York METS
A newly acquired interest of mine...BASEBALL!

When in America, do what the Americans do! Haha, and you so gotta catch a baseball game! Thanks to my brother's gf, we got free tickets to the New York METS baseball game in Flushing, NY! It was AWESOME. The crowd. The 3-in-a-row home-runs! The cheering. Wooo. An experience of a lifetime. It's amazing how sports can bring people of all walks of life together. Seriously.

Not exactly proud to say...but it was my first time watching baseball. Hang on. I mean...I haven't watched baseball AT ALL prior to this. Not even on TV. Hence, other than "Home-run"...haha, I know nuts about this game. But thanks to a METS fan (my cousin, Jim), I grasped the fundamentals of the game pretty fast...and to my surprise, I actually started liking the game very much! To the extent...we actually went to play baseball few days after. AND...I got myself my very first jersey. A METS jersey. Haaa, sounds crazy right? I know.

Something's wrong with blogger pic tonight...can't seem to be able to upload anything at all. But it's alright! Will show ya all the pics next time k? Shall tuck myself to bed with Jemima J. Ha, she's so funny.
