Catching Up
Feelin' a lil melancholic this very moment. Listening to "Animation Medley" - one of the many band pieces we used to play back in TK. Ahh. I'll never forget those times - the best four years of my entire school life. Band used to be my number one priority. It was that big a part of my life then.

Met up with the girls on Saturday - a date we set few months back before my trip. It was...awesome! Thanks PJ for organising! (: It's amazing how much we've changed since. We chatted like those days were just few years back. But shockingly, ten years have gone by - just like that. Friends come and go. And I'm so glad we made the effort to stay in touch.

Nostalgic. Haha. We dined at Werners - a German restaurant along Upp. East Coast rd. Elv, must bring you there someday! It was so good. The pork knuckes, the sausages, the clam chowder, the german beer! Not too expensive too. Value for money. Reminded me of those times in Munich with the market.

After dinner, we adjourned to Settler's Cafe for more catching up to do! Fun! We laughed so hard that night. Two boyfriends joined us. But not to worry, haha, they didn't spoil the fun. We played Cranium and Taboo...till GST officially turned 7%! Haaa, it's hilarious to see what we came up with to get our team mates to guess the correct answer. We drew, acted, hummed, did everything we could. We looked super silly. Hahaha. But who cares. It's one of the few public places where you can raise your voice, laugh till the roof falls and yet, no one will complain.

Ah hah! Talking about this, there's one more place you simply cannot miss - HK Cafe. Hahaha. A particular dearie's favourite food place. The place is cosy, but I find the food is just alright. Ha, nothing spectacular. Met up with some of the marketeers last Friday at Marina Sq's HK Cafe. Missed you guys! Laughed till our jaws ached! Haha. As usual, the company was fabulous.

I'm getting 'heaty'. How do I know? I woke up with a terribly painful throat this morning - at 5+am. I slept early last night because of the throat too. But it wasn't as bad as it is now. I think it's thanks to the irresistable food in Singapore. Drowning myself with loads of home-made barley now as I so don't wanna fall sick. It sure feels sucky to be sick - and I don't want to spoil my days.

Ohyes, to update you guys a lil' about my current HP status. My dopod - They have not gotten back to me on its status yet. Taking way too long. And the service (on the phone) was hopeless too. Made me wait and wait and wait, and at the end of the day, she told me they'll call me back - which of course they didn't.

I'm currently using Auntie Huang's colleague's spare phone. I know her personally too, as I often pop by their office to pick Auntie Huang up. It's a nokia phone - I can't remember the specific model, but I know it came out in 2003. Haha, I remember because I used to sell that phone when I worked in Starhub then. And big big thanks to the sweethearts who offered to lend me theirs too upon hearing that I'm phoneless. *Muacks*

Nat, a buddy I got to know from Starhub, accompanied me to check out the hp stores last Friday. Only one phone caught my eye - Samsung's U600! It has the basic features...camera, mp3s. and yet, its sleek in its design too. I fell in love with it. Haha. But total damage would be $398 - for a 2-year plan. To buy or not to buy? Do I really need it? Sigh. Actually, no. After serious considerations, I decided...to buy the hp that I'm currently using, from Auntie Huang's colleague. I figured it shouldn't be worth more than 50 bucks, because its really old? BUT, I must say its pretty well maintained. Haha. She, saying that it was a free phone (and that she has more spare phones at home), refused to sell it to me. She wants to give it to me. How can! After much negotiation, conclusion's a treat for that phone. Haha, and yay. Yours truly has a hp now. =)

Enough of yekking.

Let's take a peep at some of the photos taken with my TK gals!

All of us - at Werners.

Look at this! Pork Knuckles and German Sausages. Awfully good! And sinful of course.

Team 1 for Cranium: SY and Lawrance

And voila! Team 3 for Cranium!
Oh and I must add, we won! Hee. We re-grouped for Taboo. And we won again. Haha. This time it's SY, Law, Me Vs the other four.
