BACK FR REDANG!
"As long as u're happy, i'm behind u all way!"

"Whatever decision u make, u'll always have my vote of support ok!!"

Touched. Serious. And I love you both for that. Other than family, its pretty tough to have frens who stay by you no matter what ordeal (i.e. sh*t) comes along. Even though the rationale may not be totally rational...the most impt thing to them is...u're happy. That's all that really matters. For that, I feel like giving you a big squeezy hug now!

I'm dedicating this post to a particular sweetheart. One who spent 18 mins on the phone w me albeit not being a "phone" person. One who beeps me early in the morn (it has come to a pt where i can feeeeel its you when i hear my sms ring just by my gut feel ;P believe?) just to keep my spirits high. One who checks my uber inactive blog regularly, gets disappointed most of the time, but yet never fails to come back e next day (haha. maybe not everyday. i dunno. but every other at least) Thanks my dear. Thanks for making that exception for me.

Feeling a little nostalgic today. Listening to "断点" and looking at the masterpiece Mr Ng Hua Qing made for me. Miss those times. But wells, life has to move on. You have to move with the clock ya? I just hope everyone is doing well in their career/studies and is h-a-p-p-y.

Am I happy? Are you happy? It's a choice isn't it? I want to be happy. & I'm happy most of the time I feel. Just that sometimes, I simply just can't deceive myself but sink into a world of just me, myself and I. For most, you would probably have realised that I'm pretty bad at expressing my feelings...especially so when it's on the downside. So when that happens, I really do appreciate frens/family just being by my side, even not talking, but just accompanying helps big time. ;-) Really. It's the thought more than anything else, and I CAN feel it.

O-K-I-E-S. Shall start my post proper k?

I'm baaack! or I shd say, we're baaack! (did anyone miss me? ;P)

Haha, as most would have known, 5 other marketeers and myself departed from Stressful Singapore last Thursday for a short (2 D/2N to be exact) but absolutely rejuvenating retreat at Pulau Redang! A pity Fmq, Ade, Js & Liqi couldn't join us in the end. And yes, that's the place they filmed "Xia Ri Mo Mo Cha" casting Ritchie Yen & Sammi Cheng. I liked the movie. And now, thanks to this trip, I'll never forget the movie. Haha, you guys know why.

This was my 2nd trip to Redang actually. Both were awfully good times, but the experiences were quite different. For the first, it was a family holiday in...2004! We took a propeller plane (sounds a lil' scary but its pretty stable!) via Berjaya Air, that could take up to 50 pax, from seletar airport to Redang itself. Yeah, as expected, its pretty costly...say near $350? And guess how long it took us to reach the destination? 1 1/2 hrs!!! (Dear khakis, considering my damaged memory, the time I stated was quite near lah har? haha) Gasps. A hell lot of diff as compared to the ungodly 15 hrs bus+boat+stop-over/waiting time to reach Redang. BUT, cost also hell lot of diff. We should have stayed looonger this trip! - to make our travelling time more worthwhile. But nevertheless, thanks to the company (especially a particular "horse"), the journey was bearable...in fact, pretty enjoyable - more so for the return trip when time seemed to fly past with us chatting thru the entire journey (nearly).

That would be the difference in the level of comfort travelling. Oh, there's also one condition tied to Berjaya Air - you have to stay in Berjaya Resort - an exclusive resort along a separate stretch of beach. And that's alightly more costly too. Basically Berjaya's more exclusive, where you have the entire stretch of beach just dedicated to the guests of Berjaya Resort. Whereas on the otherhand, Pasir Panjang (the commercialised stretch where we stayed this time round) had like...more than 10 over resorts along one stretch of beach?

Two different locations, but other than those stated above, beach resorts are still beach resorts. A place to enjoy, catch your breath, zap out of work, and eat till you "dor" - literally. It was a troubles-free trip. I was happy...from within. And I snacked like nobody's business on this trip. Boy do I not dare to put myself on the weighing scale now. If I have a choice again, I would still go for the bus! Ha, but stay longer for sure! Someone told me that she was taught to make do with whatever she has since young. And I feel that that's a priceless skill to have. Learn to be satisfied with what you have, make the most out of it, and you'll be happy. ;)

**PHOTOS TIME**
Me, Elv & 33 after breakfast! (LOOK at the backdrop. Jaws drop. Beautiful!! Just as what you see on my wallpaper. White sand. BLUE sea. BLUE sky. Loves it.)

ALL 6 of us (Dan, Andy, myself, Elv, 33 & her swimming instructor, Siwei!)

The guys... (pretty good bods eh! SHHH. don't let them hear.)

Elv and me by our balcony! We got the deluxe pool view!

The girls! I think I broke a couple of Elv's bones. Haha. This was taken outside the More More Tea Inn where the show was filmed. The entire Tea Inn is a gift store now (2-levels). The 2nd level used to be a KTV area (3 years back).

REACH for the STARS!!

My first time on a hammock too. And I enjoyed my swing! Ha, with Mr Pig forcefully swaying the hammock.

OUR room! Haha, with 33's facial pdts.

"Urgh...Why why why! I want to sleep!!!!!"

Haha, surprisingly yours truly WOKE UP (slept only for TWO hours) for sunrise! Tks to Miss Wee! Haha. The fierce "alarm clock". Thereafter, we charged into our neighbouring room to wake this PIG up! Worthwhile! V beautiful. Though we din't see the yolk rising (again!), but the scene was breathtaking. HAHA. Till I unconsciously walked towards the horizon with my camera, disappeared for a moment, and for the mkt worried for awhile. Sorry my dears!

One of the many scenic shots I snapped. ;)

Elv told us about the "Blue sand" that Summer told her about. Apparently, many tourists were in search for it too. One of the frenly staff at Laguna told us that it is actually an organism that gets swept up the shore. You just have to gently brush through the sand, and you will see them!! - IF you're lucky! AND we did! on our 2nd night! Tks to lucky chap Mr Ng! He did not even have to brush any sand. The waves came along, and left TWO grains of the blue sand in front of him. Bright luminous blue. Kudos to him!

Mr Ng and me...(Taking into consideration tt we only slept for 2 hours! we looked pretty energetic yeh? ha)

Final group photo. BYEBYE REDANG!! :(

Miss Wee and me! Taken on the bus - the 15 hour long journey! Haa, but it was crazy...we yekked for like 14 out of the 15 hours! But it was good. Din't feel tired at all! ;)

To the lovely 5: Thanks for the priceless company! I totally totally enjoyed the 2D/2N with you! Ha, and as what another Mr Ng said, travelling together really deepens the understanding you have towards your travel mate...and vice versa. I cherish this time spent together with you, and I'm looking forward to more trips!!! May I earn more money...to splurge on more trips! Ha.
