Somehow...I just can't help feelin' a little more for this beautiful island of ours on this fateful day. Haa. but sadly...it's not everyday that I feel it. haha. Well, better than not feeling at all right? lols. Being there to feel the moment...& watching it live on a dead screen...really is very different. less impactful seeing dead screen. Thinking about it...time really flies. it's been a good 4 years since i've last caught ndp on tele! i've always been down there...glowing in red...feeling the heat...feeding mosquitos with my rare blood type...singing aloud (literally ALOUD!) those classic songs of our nation which were taught ever since we were in pri sch...wahaha! Other than the heat in the early part...i've always enjoyed it so much. Call me mad. or whatever. haha. Nevertheless, i do still feel v. proud on this very day to be part of our nation!Happy 41st Burthday Singapore!

A tad disappointed with the theme song this year though. don't have the "ooomph" it should have. where's the climax of the song??! But she has a great voice...that i must admit. Songs...I still prefer the original versions on the whole. Miss those songs. Songs that are relived once a year.
