here i am..blogging away on an early friday mornining.. it has been a loooooong loooooooong time since i've last entered an arcade..! *laughs* i used to be an arcade-girl in the past!... (oh really? haha nodnods!) zooming away with daytona, shooting the uncountable dinosaurs' head off, busily spotting the difference, strumming the 3-buttoned guitar, hitting the 3-blue 2-red music game! wow!! more more n moreee!! but don't ever tell me to do the para para..or the dancing stuff..lol. no way no way. haha...
recapping..when was the first arcade i've been to? or rather remembering being to? the one at parkway parade. the one inside. the exact position of the arcade is taken over by the current foodcourt on the 2nd highest level if i'm not wrong. ya..somewhere there. me and my cousin often hang around there...nearly every week! or every other week..haha. Are we close? Yes u bet! We 3 (my brother, him & i are the trio who grew up together! we do silly things like taking orders during BBQ time, setting up tent in his backyard and staying there the entire day...even our meals are brought into the tent!, playing badminton in our porch with the gate as the fence, watch tom&jerry together, cleared swimming exams together, cycled in search for the "secret-playground" around our neighbourhood! gasp. they form my entire childhood history you can say) haha. this explains why i'm not the girly-girl type of girl. though i used to play girls stuff..ALONE =( haha i used to like polly-pockets! and i collect them too~* wahhaa..okie.. in e past~
oh no..i'm a little off topic. okay..as i way saying...e arcade! n the reason y we often hang out there was bcos our mums were busy in the hair salon. i still vividly remember lor. but games were different then..shooting basketball. punching crocodiles back in when they popped out. sitting the mini-van with the movie screen as though you are on a ride in outer spc. collecting long long rows of tickets to redeem stuff. haha. that was so long ago. during those sticker-collecting days...in primary school. what else did i collect in primary school..hmm..there's like stickers! phonecards! first-day covers! stamps! erasers...ya thats abt all.
& i so enjoyed the time in the arcade tdy..even though we dint spend alot of time there..but it was sufficient..really. we practically laughed our hearts out there! there after, we went to catch "sky-high"! it IS gooooooooood! it is one funny & moving show! its about this young boy having 2 superhero parents...1 with super strength..and the other can fly. they being the 2 greatest superheros on earth. as you see..having 2 great parents naturally means bearing the stress to be as good as them! or even better. but this poor little boy didnt manage to find out wat kind of power he has until much later. it's like having 2 greatest lawyer parents...whom have super high hopes on you to surpass them - to be the next big lawyer on e globe. the thing is, you badly wanna be one..but yet..you just can't seem to pass your tests. frustrated n disappointed you must b feelin. yet cant bear to hurt them by telling them the truth. next main pt. of the show would be cherishing the one beside you. n not forsaking them for fame. haha thats wat e show is more or less about..go catch it to know more!
i'm gonna give myself 1 more day to recharge..b4 i start chewing on my services txt..haa. cherios!!
